Location: Falls Church Healthcare Center, 900 S. Washington St., Falls Church. Over 1700 abortions take place at this facility each year. Park on Woodlawn or Marshall streets on the other side of Rt. 29.
We also pray outside the abortion facility in between 40 Days for Life. Please contact Becky if you would like to join us.
40 Days for Life is the largest internationally coordinated pro-life mobilization in history, helping people in local communities end the injustice of abortion through a focused 40-day campaign of prayer, fasting, and peaceful activism, with the purpose of repentance, to seek God’s favor to turn hearts and minds from a culture of death to a culture of life, thus bringing an end to abortion.
During 40 Days for Life, we join with other churches in our area in a continual prayer vigil outside the abortion facility near our church. It is a peaceful and educational presence, sending a powerful message to the community about the tragic reality of abortion and offering practical help to those who patronize the facility.
Since 2007, 40 Days for Life has achieved significant results: 20,689 known lives saved; 229 abortion workers quit; 114 abortion centers closed.
In Northern Virginia, four abortion facilities have closed their doors since 2013.
